The Virilla, the streams and the rainy season
Moravia has the Virilla River as its northern boundary with Santo Domingo de Heredia, and several streams that run down from San Jerónimo into the valley. The overgrown slopes are a permanent shelter for roof rats, and the houses along the edge of a stream are the first to call.
